Style: The style of the sessions will be practical and participative, either drawing on participants’ live situations, or asking them to anticipate management situations they might have in the future.

Day 1: Management Development

 

The learning outcomes of the session are to:

  • Understand how to act appropriately as a manager;

  • Review you and your own teams strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats;

  • Understand and apply collaborative leadership behaviours to lead people effectively;

  • Adapt your leadership style in an appropriate way in different situations;

  • Understand how to motivate and develop teams and individuals;

  • Connect and collaborate with team’s stakeholders to increase innovation and improve results.

Day 2: Communication

 

The learning outcomes of the session are to:

 

  • Understand the importance of personal communication style and its impact on others;

  • Apply active listening and questioning techniques for advanced communication;

  • Prepare for negotiation situations effectively;

  • Manage the emotional dimension of negotiations;

  • Define clear objectives including a BATNA;

  • Establish and maintain a positive negotiation environment;

  • Apply influencing techniques to achieve a win-win solution.

Day 3: Change Management

 

The learning outcomes of the session are to:

 

  • Understand the reasons and types of change and how this applies to your environment;

  • Realise the impact of change on individuals, teams and organisation and the emotional reactions change creates;

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the change process;

  • Deal effectively with resistance to change and change programmes;

  • Apply enhanced communication techniques to create trust in times of turbulences and change;

  • Be a role model in the change process and and help team member to deal successfully with change.
