WEALTH PLANNER UK

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the legal and tax aspects of the personal wealth and financial planning issues facing UHNW clients in the UK;

  • Build strong relationships with wealth structuring and business development colleagues, supporting them proactively in servicing partners and developing new business;

  • Assist in analysis of the legal and tax viability of wealth planning solutions for clients;

  • Liaise with external advisers; commission, analyse and summarise opinions;

  • Monitor changes in the financial planning environment and investigate the potential impact or opportunities for the company;

  • Assist in analysis of non-standard large and complex cases, including client rationale in the choice of structure;

  • Participate in product and market development;

  • Provide legal and tax assistance on matters regarding new and existing business and clients;

  • Participate actively in marketing initiatives, including presentation at roundtable events, partner training sessions and contribution to newsletters.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Law;

  • LPC graduate (pass at first attempt);

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in and good working knowledge with regard to structuring wealth for private clients in the UK and ideally across borders;

  • Insurance experience is a distinct advantage;

  • Ability to work autonomously, to prioritise tasks and exercise sound judgement and creativity in finding solutions;

  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills;

  • Strong client/solution focus;

  • English mother tongue. Proficiency in other major European languages is an asset.
