JOB SUMMARY

​

The Investment Risk Officer will work closely with and report to the Risk & Compliance Team Manager in Luxembourg. (S)He will also have to work closely with the Investment Risk Team in our client’s UK entity and proactively contribute to better investment decisions. (S)He will challenge fund managers on exposure, concentrations and liquidity concerns. (S)He will work on Alternative Funds and Traditional ones.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

​

• Challenge & Support the business to ensure that our client’s Investors portfolio risk issues are identified and managed.

• Keep abreast of and provide risk advice on new products and services.

• Provide independent portfolio risk management, helping the fund managers to manage and control investment risk. Regular meetings with fund manager.

• Ensures that investment positions and risk being taken are consistent with client benchmark/risk tolerances.

• Keep abreast of latest industry market risk management techniques and where appropriate implement these within our client’s Investors.

• Provide risk advice for new client take on and investment performance.

• Ensure our client’s Investment Risk comply with global Investment Risk policy.

• To provide independent challenge ensuring that investment positions and risk being run are consistent with client benchmarks and risk tolerances.

• Deliver informative, timely, clear, comprehensive risk reporting.

• Ensure risk models and reports are fit for purpose.

• Prepare Risk Committee dedicated to Investment & Liquidity Risk.

• Ensure Compliance with all regulatory requirements;

• Participate in preparation and update of the RMP;

• Participate in preparation of BOARD Investment Risk presentation;

• Provide appropriate support in product development and management;

• Represent the company in local industry working groups related to Investment Risk.
